Vans とのコラボレーションシューズは今年で6年目を迎えました。今年は、MOONEYES Brand で ERA、MOON Equipped Brand で HALF CAB を展開します。
It's been six years since Vans and MOONEYES started the collaboration. This year, we are going to run ERA with “MOONEYES” and HALF CAB with “MOON EQUIPPED.”

2021 VANS x MOONEYES ERA
MOONEYES ERA としては、2足目となる今回のモデルは、Design 的にはシンプルに構成していきながら、カラーチョイスや採用素材、各部の細かいディテールの部分で MOONEYES をイメージさせていく一足に仕上げました。
This is our second MOONEYES Era. Although the design is simple, color choice and small details show the MOONEYES spirit.
特長:
Toe は今回 Black の Suede を採用し、Laces Area に近い最上部に【MOON】Logo を Light Gray の Embroidery で配置しました。また、踵部分にあたる Counter と同じく、Black Suede 部分の Stitch Color は Yellow を使用し、MOONEYES Brand を強調しております。Eyelet(鳩目)は Laces Accessories と同じく、シルバーで質感を強調し、Shoe Laces の Color はWhite にしております。
Laces Accessories として付属するメタルパーツのデザインは、MOON Products の一つとして、象徴的な存在である MOON Disc に刻印している 【MOON® U.S.A】の部分を質感含め、忠実に再現しています。
Shoe Laces は先端部を Yellow にし、今回のモデルで各部に配置している 【MOON】Logo を入れました。
Tongue の部分は、キャンバス素材を採用し、Base 部分を Black, Trim 部分を Yellow で仕上げました。最上部には、Eyeball Logo をプリントにて配置しています。
サイドから踵上部まで回り込む Quarter Area と Quarter Lining 部分は今回初めて、艶を抑えた細かいナイロン素材を採用しました。実際に履いて動いた時に他の素材とは違う見え方をするので新鮮であるのと、摩擦に強く、弾力性がある素材なのでハードな使用を考えられる方にもおすすめです。
通常ラインが一本プリントされているゴムのテープ部分は、Yellow にて全体をナイロン素材の Color と合わせています。また Out Sole 側には、Eyeshape Logo と Text MOONEYES Logo をグレーにてさりげなく配置しました。
今回のERA はデザインの部分ではシンプルなイメージで構成していますが、インソールや、Shoes Box は、Eyeball 総柄を採用し、MOONEYES Brand をイメージ出来るよう仕上げました。
Shoes Box は今回初めて引き出しタイプを採用致しました。

Toe is using black suede, and the “MOON” logo, which is the closest to the laces area, is embroidered by gray stitches. Also, the counter uses the same black suede and these yellow stitches emphasize the “MOONEYES” brand. Silver eyelets and lace accessories are the same as the Half Cab, which emphasizes the texture. This time the shoelace color is white.
Lace accessories' metal parts are engraved 【MOON® U.S.A】 which is faithfully reappeared by MOON disc’s engraving.
The top of the shoelace is coated with yellow. Also, it has a “MOON” logo on it.
The tongue is used as canvas material. The base color is black, and the trim is done with yellow. Also, a big eyeball logo is printed.
For the first time, from the side to upper heel quarter area and quarter lining are using mat fine nylon material. When it is worn, this material looks different from when it's unworn. Also, it is known as strong for friction, and it has an elastic synthetic.
Normally there is one line printed on a rubber tape zone. However, we decided to paint them all yellow which is the same color as the nylon fabric. On the outer sole, the gray eyeshape logo and “MOONEYES” logo are casually placed.
This shoe is designed simply. However, the insole and shoe box are covered with full of eyeballs.
For the first time, the shoe box has adopted drawer type.

2021 VANS x MOON Equipped HALF CAB
HALF CAB は、前回の MOONEYES Brand から今回は MOON Equipped Brand での 2モデル目のリリースとなります。 このモデルは、2017年に最初の HALF CABを企画していた段階で、既に構想は完成しており、ようやく発売を迎えられた一足となりました。
Since we ran Half Cab with “MOONEYES” last time in 2017, this year we decided to release it from the “MOON EQUIPPED” brand as the second model. This design was already in “Pan” Sumi’s mind since he designed the first model and it is finally completed.
特長:
MOON Equipped Brand の Image Color である、Black, Beige, Dark Red, Red のコンビネーションで全体を構成しています。
Toe の部分は、先端部分をBlack Suede、MOON Equipped の Logo を Beige Color 総柄でプリントしている部分に関しては、キャンバス素材で構成しています。
2021年のもう一足のモデルである Era と同じくEyelet(鳩目)は Laces Accessories と同じく、シルバーで質感を強調。 Shoe Laces Color は Beige です。

This entire shoe is structured with “MOON EQUIPPED”’s image color which is black, beige, dark red, and red.
The toe area is created with black suede and beige eyeshape print which is printed on the canvas. Silver eyelets and lace accessories are the same as the ERA. These accessories emphasize the texture and the Shoelace color is beige featuring one of the brand colors.
